the real F-word

You can call 'em in many names:
dummy
hoax
replica
fiction
fantasy
virtual reality
dream
novel
film
hallucination
false
bogus
counterfeit
forged
phony
sham
imitation
simulated
mock
faux
ersatz
pretend
delusion
illusion
mimic
news
popstars
politicians
big tits
but they all relate to not being the real thing. Or something, according to wikipedia, created to look like a real object that exists or could exist, or a performance where an event is played, or untrue statements. Or a person who tries to be someone they're not by dressing and acting differently from their true selves.
In other words, fake.

In this day and age, this could be the only word that can stay true to itself. We may admit it or not but we are so used to seeing, hearing and even smelling fake, that it's difficult for most of us to get a hold of what's real or what's not.

Call this an exaggeration, but this world of us, while becoming smaller and smaller because of the modern technologies, has also become more and more fake. Everything from mutant chicken, to fake news, to Botoxed faces, to unreal popstars, to the fake Philippine president, to manufactured diseases, and made-up wars, almost everything we see is indescribably moronic. And yes, we try to escape from all of these fakeness, by diving into more fantasies. Which I find funny. No, hilarious.

But hey, who am I kidding. If I could save the world by running after cheerleaders, why not right? So to this fake world, this is your blog. And I won't stop 'till you admit you're not really round.
